I could of paid a company to pack my stuff, pack the truck, drive it here and unload it for less then what your Company cost me in equipment, gas, time, putting air in, the tools and straps i lost and the time spent on the phone.
10am to 5pm on the side of the highway with my 4 kids (one an infant) 3 dogs and no ac. Did i mention it was 90+ degrees out no shade? I wasn't leaving my husband there alone. All your company can say is about the original quote. You turned a at most 18 hour trip into a 36 because of all the problems we had. Plus who gives someone a truck that gets 7 miles to the gallon when they are traveling 900 miles?
Oh speaking of that! Your phone reps cutting you off mid sentence by cold transferring to who know so i can start all over. That's horrible business too. So when we move the rest of our family down i think i will be using budget or another competitor. This was the last straw.
I will never use uhaul again. A side from everything else that went wrong you left my family on the side of the highway from 10am to 5 pm. )
We told you the transmission died. You sent out someone to fix it. I use this term loosely. They poured transmission fluid in the truck or went right to the ground and then they made him drive it another exit. This is when it got worse and they finally called for the tow. Which we thought we were doing from the beginning. That took forever. They towed it to the house so we could unpack it and picked it up the next day. They guy who picked it up never called so now i have tools and tow/rachet straps i am now out. (Couple hundred dollars worth)

Starting out with we called a week ago and reserved the 17ft truck and car transport for this past Sunday in the am. For around 1100.00. This included tax and insurance. We got a text Saturday saying pick up at 4pm. That didn't work with a 5am Monday morning departure. So we then had to go to 2 separate locations (neither the one we made reservations at) to pick up. The lake ave location had one great employee and on so rude i was pretty sure i wasn't going to use this company again then. When she have me the wrong size truck and i tried to explain. I was told sorry not my problem. Then out to Jefferson to pick up the transport. That went ok. But i did not know when i paid for the truck it didn't pay for the transport. So i was charged more than what i was quoted. When i called to find out why they opened a complaint abs a manager was to call me back. That never happened. So then we get half way through pa and i notice the tires needed air. All 4 on the transport and one on the truck. Now we get into Tennessee and the transmission dies
